You can exercise your data subject rights under applicable law at any time.

Account deactivation
How do I deactivate my account?
You can deactivate your account yourself at any time. To deactivate your account:

1. Go to your account on
2. Click Settings
3. Click Deactivate my account

When you deactivate your account, any current reservations you have as a host or a guest will be deemed automatically cancelled by you, and the relevant cancellation policy will apply.
If, in the future, you want to reopen a deactivated account, you’ll need to contact us.

What is the difference between deactivating and deleting an account?
Deactivating an account and a deletion request are two different things. When you choose to deactivate your account, you can reactivate it at a later date if you wish.

You can request permanent deletion of your personal data and closure of your Pave account at any point by submitting a data deletion request.

How do I delete or erase my account?
You can submit a deletion request (or ask us to erase your personal information) at any time. Once your request is processed, your personal information will be permanently deleted (except for certain information that we are legally required or permitted to retain, as outlined in our Privacy Policy) and your account will be permanently closed. This means that we'll no longer be able to provide our services to you and if you decide to use Pave again in the future, you'll need to set up a new account.
You may exercise your rights to have your personal data deleted by sending us an email. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before taking action on your request. Providing the following information in your e-mail will help us with processing your request:

● Subject: “Data Subject Right Request – Deletion Request”
● Your specific Pave ID (the number at the top of your profile)
● A short description of your request

Opting out of marketing and promotions
You can exercise your right to opt out from receiving marketing notifications and promotional e-mails and messages.
You can change your marketing preferences at any time by logging in to your account and following these steps:

1. Go to your account on our website
2. Click Notifications
3. Deselect e-mails and texts from the Promotions box

You may still receive some e-mails after opting out of marketing and promotional e-mails and texts as it may be notifications related to a booking query or existing booking you have requested. If you do not want to receive any notifications from Pave, we suggest you deactivate or delete your account.
