Do I make my own arrangements to obtain a visa to India?
We will process your visa if you live in the UK and intend to go to India only for the duration of your Internship with Pave. Nonetheless, we will support you throughout the process if you’re applying outside of the UK, which will help alleviate the difficulty and hassle from you to a great extent. It is important to obtain the correct visa to legally intern in India, which requires approval letters from Pave and invitation letters from authorities in India.
What information do I need to provide for a visa to India as a UK applicant?
If your application is successful, you will receive specific information on what to provide so we can support and/or process your visa.
What information do I need to provide for a visa to India as a non-EU applicant?
If your application is successful, you will receive specific information from us on the type of visa to apply for and assistance on how to process your visa as a non-EU applicant.
What is the visa process if I have an OCI card?
As an OCI cardholder you have a lifetime visa to India. In any event, you will need to check that you have followed the correct steps to ensure your OCI is valid such as ensuring that you carry your OCI passport and that your lifetime visa is in your current passport.
How long does the visa application process take?
Depending on an array of factors, your visa can take as little as 48 hours but as long as several weeks to receive a decision from the consulate.
Is there a fee to obtain a visa to India?
Yes, you will have to pay the consular fee to obtain the correct visa to India.
Visa fees are subject to change on a frequent basis, so we will endeavour to provide you with the latest fees at the time of your visa application. If the fee increases while we are processing your visa, you must pay us in full to reflect the change. We will return any reduction in visa fee minus the administration plus bank transfer cost back to you.
