Do I make my own arrangements to obtain a visa to India on an Experience?
We will process your visa if you live in the UK and intend to go to India only for the duration of our Experience. Nevertheless, we will support you throughout the process if you’re applying outside of the UK, which will help alleviate the difficulty and hassle of finding the correct visa to travel to India.
What information do I need to provide for a visa to India?
Once you have a booking, we will be in touch to provide you with the necessary information to obtain your visa to India. We will notify you about visa details and you will usually find the information uploaded to your account.
What is the visa process if I have an OCI card?
As an OCI cardholder you have a lifetime visa to India. In any event, you will need to check that you have followed the correct steps to ensure your OCI is valid such as ensuring that you carry your OCI passport and that your lifetime visa is in your current passport.
How long does the visa application process take?
Your visa application can take as little as 48 hours but as long as 6 weeks to receive a decision from the consulate. We will assist you so that you can obtain a visa as quickly as possible so you don’t have any concerns about getting a visa in time for your Experience.
Is there a fee to obtain a visa to India?
Yes, you will have to pay the consular fee to obtain the correct visa to India.
Visa fees are subject to change on a frequent basis, so we will endeavour to provide you with the latest costs at the time of your visa application. If we are processing your visa on your behalf and the fee increases, you are required to pay us the additional fee to reflect the change. We will return any reduction in visa fee minus the administration plus bank transfer cost back to you.
